Schedule

  • You are invited to a no-cost/no-obligation online Intro to Meditation talk for prospective students. These online sessions typically last 30 minutes. Please contact me for an email calendar invite with login details.
  • The 3-day 1 Giant Mind Learn to Meditate Course sessions are 90 minutes each and are taught on three consecutive days, typically Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 pm US Mountain Time. Teaching takes place either online or in person. Individuals and couples are welcome. I teach a max of eight students per course to allow for personalized attention and instruction.
  • The 4-day Vedic Meditation Course is taught over four consecutive days and scheduled on a first-come first-served basis. Sessions are also 90 minutes each. Teaching takes place in-person only. This is a more detailed course, which includes an ancient Vedic ceremony of gratitude to the long lineage of teachers of the tradition (Guru Parampara), and is for those who are ready to take their inner practice to the next level. Individuals and couples are welcome. I teach a max of four students per Vedic course.
  • Attending an intro talk is a prerequisite for taking either course. If you want to attend an upcoming course and have not yet attended an intro talk, please reach out to me for a one-on-one conversation so that you can come up to speed.
  • Individual instruction is also available. Please see the Pricing & Payment page for these options.
  • Group instruction is available. This is well-suited to small groups such as corporate leadership teams.
  • Upon completion of the 3 or 4-day course, students are welcome to join Stillness Center weekly student group meditation sessions each Wednesday at 5 pm MT.
  • Students who have completed the course are welcome to re-take it at no additional cost, pending available space.

Notes for class sessions:

  • Please arrive to each session on time. Five minutes early is always on time!
  • Find a comfortable place to sit where you are least likely to be disturbed, away from pets and children.
  • You can sit in a chair or on the floor. Your back should be supported, but your head and neck free.
  • Come on an empty stomach and avoid caffeine, sugar and alcohol prior to class sessions. These substances affect the nervous system and make it more difficult for the mind to lead the body into a deep, restful state.
  • Have a pen and paper handy in case you’d like to take notes or keep a journal of your meditation experiences.
  • Have water (and/or herbal tea) and tissues close by.
